Ultrasn0w 1.0-1 to Unlock iPhone 4 is Ready to Release

For all who asking about the new update of Ultrasn0w to unlock iPhone 4, it's ready and will be released later this evening. In less than six hours, Ultrasn0w 1.0-1 will be released to unlock iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS and 3G. It's compatible with all basebands including the new baseband of iPhone 4 (BB 01.59.00)

Warning:iPhone 3G/3GS Unlockers, Ultrasn0w 0.93 Exploit Obsolete from Baseband 05.14.01

Sherif Hashim one of the dev-team members sent a tweet confirmed that baseband 05.14.01 and above makes ultrasn0w 0.93's exploit obsolete, he sent the tweet to warn iPhone 3G and iPhone 3GS users should stay on iOS 4.0 & iOS 4.0.1 and don't update to newer iOS versions, or they will not be able to unlock their iPnones.

I think DevTeam have to rewrite Ultrasn0w again to works on the baseband  but don't expect it anytime soon as they already done with ultrasn0w 0.94 that would unlock iPhone 4.

iPhone Dev Team has just updated Redsn0w to bring support for the Final Version of iOS 4 for iPhone 3G and iPod Touch 2G. This update works on both Mac and Windows and make you able to Enable Multitasking which is disabled by Apple. Follow the Steps below to Jailbreak iOS 4 Final Release on iPhone 3G and iPod Touch 2G.

Redsn0w beta has been updated to hacktivate iOS 4.0 for iPhone3G (in addition to jailbreaking the iPhone3G and iPod Touch 2G).
For now, the redsn0w beta release supports only the iPhone3G and iPod Touch 2G at today’s 4.0. It’s still a beta, so you’ll need to let Cydia reorganize, reload, and update after using redsn0w.

Steps:
Step 1: Download iOS 4 Final Version according to your Device from Here.
Step 2: Update your Device Firmware using the latest iOS 4 you have Downloaded via iTunes 9.2
Step 3: Download Redsn0w (Link at the end of Page) and Extract it, Then Open Redsn0w 0.9.5b5-3 and Browse it to the Original Firmware

Step 4: Select "Install Cydia" and choose the other features you need Including "Enable Multitasking" and "Enable homescreen wallpaper"

Step 5: Now turn off you Device and plug it to your Computer using USB Then Click Next

Step 6: In this Stage you will have to put your Device in DFU Mode by Following the instructions written in this stage
Step 7: Now, Let Redsn0w do the rest, Then your iPhone or iPod Touch will be restarted and it will be Jailbroken on iOS 4.

It's happening, The iPhone Dev Team has just Released Ultrasn0w 0.93 to Unlock the Final version of iOS 4 on both 04.26.08 (on 3.1.3) and 05.13.04 (on 4.0) Basebands, This Unlock for iPhone 3G and 3GS. Step by Step guide to Unlock your iPhone 3GS on Baseband 05.13.04 posted below..

Steps:
Step 1: You should have a Jailbroken iPhone, you can use Step by Step guide to Jailbreak iPhone 3GS / 3G posted here.
Step 2: Navigate to Cydia Source by Going to Cydia --> Manage --> Sources.

Step 2: Touch on “Edit” and then on “Add”. Type "http://repo666.ultrasn0w.com" then hit "Add Source". Ultrasn0w will be added to your Cydia Source lists.

Step 3: After you install Ultrasn0w in your Cydia sources list, Search for "ultrasn0w 0.93" and install this app, and it will automatically unlock your iPhone 3GS.

Unlock iOS 4 on Baseband 04.26.08 Using Ultrasn0w (Official Release)

MuscleNerd, one of the iPhone Dev Team memebrs has just tweeted that they updated Ultrasn0w to new version that can Unlock iOS 4 but this is not the waited unlock tool from Dev Team, as it works only 04.26.08 baseband. but the much waited tool will work on 05.12.01 baseband.

Note: A new ultrasn0w capable of unlocking 4.0’s baseband isn’t yet released because both the final 4.0 and iPhone 4 are coming out next week. Please be patient.

Steps:
Step 1: Check your baseband, Simply Go to Settings --> General --> About --> Modem Firmware and you will find your baseband there.
Step 2: If you’re running baseband 04.26.08 on 4.0GM, then you can Install Ultrasn0w by Going to Cydia --> Manage --> Sources.

Step 3: Now add "http://ios4.ultrasn0w.org" then hit Enter. Ultrasn0w will be added to your Cydia Source lists.
